Called Cherry Roofing on a Tuesday and scheduled an evaluation for a long overdue flat roof repair. Met with Michael Schmidt Wednesday evening. Estimate was great and very fair. I explained that we were going on vacation 5 days and the work could be scheduled for when we returned. The office called me the next day and told me they can do the work on Friday! That is amazing service!! The crew and materials were there Friday morning led by Mike Kane. The job done at noon!!! My experience with Cherry was fantastic. We had a bit of an emergency with our gutters and soffet and called Cherry Roofers in to give an estimate. Besides giving a fair estimate and explaining exactly what was going on and our various options, Sal was very friendly, gave fantastic advice to me as a new homeowner with no idea what I’m doing, and was completely understanding of our situation.

The process started off promising, but things went downhill once the work began. And though we went through a stressful period, upper management stepped in and made things right. The problem employees were dealt with, our roof was finished properly, and the company compensated us. It’s good to see a business not being all talk when it comes down to standing by their word.

We had hired Cherry to replace our siding about 2 years ago after a wind storm ripped off a huge chunk. They did such a great job that, when it was time to replace our roof, we knew exactly who to call. They don’t do high pressure sales tactics like other places. They also take their time and actually have someone inspect the damage before giving a quote instead of just sending out a salesman.

Contract with Cherry Roofing and Siding and you’ll be happy you did!! Another Roofing company (M&J Roofing and Siding Company and their RUDE staff — DON’T USE THEM) left my elderly father with a leaky roof unresolved after they had installed a brand new roof, and refused to help us figure out the issue. Enter Cherry Roofing and Siding Company and Sal D’Amico. Sal was super personable and professional. He accommodated our schedules, arrived on time, diagnosed the issue, and provided a detailed explanation of what was causing the ongoing leak. He could have left us to go back to the insurance company to negotiate for additional money to cover the problem but instead, Sal offered to handle all communications with the insurance company and copied us on all email correspondence he sent. When the insurance company didn’t respond expeditiously, HE followed up and kept us informed all along the way. Long story short, we received additional settlement money, thanks to Sal, and hired Cherry Roofing to resolve the issue. They did an excellent repair job and we are thrilled!! THANKS AGAIN, SAL! You are the BEST!

My wife and I found out about Cherry Roofing and Siding from our son-in-law Mike Clyburn who is a job planner for Cherry. He set up the visit with the sales rep and ordered the materials for the job. We were visited by the sales rep Mike Schmidt. He inspected the current roof and estimated the work to be done. The roof on the house and the garage were to be replaced (20 square) along with downspout work on the garage. He spent a lot of time explaining the techniques, materials, and timing to complete the job. The crew headed by Mike Kane came the day of the job. They were efficient, their work top notch and left the jobsite as clean as they found it. All the work was completed as expected in one day. The gutter and downspout work were completed in about 1 hour the next day. I have included 2 pics of the finished job. I have nothing bad to say about Cherry Roofing and Siding and will continue to refer friends and family. Keep doing what you do, thank you.

Dominic and his guys were very nice, professional and quite fast as well. Dom went over everything with me, and made sure I understood everything. Out of all the roofing companies we received quotes from Cherry was the most affordable, and surprisingly considering our roof needed a total replacement. Most of the prices we got were the “we really don’t want to come to this neighborhood do this work, but if we have to, we’re going to upcharge” kind of prices, if you know what I mean. It took them a little longer than they expected to finish but like I said our roof needed a total replacement, nonetheless, they literally got the job done in one day. They arrived about 30 mins before their scheduled time, which was awesome, (the earlier the better) they had all of their supplies ready to work right away. Cherry will forever have our business, and we’ve already recommended them to a couple friends and family.

Sal was instrumental in helping us work through our homeowners insurance to have almost all the costs covered and even came in person for the insurance adjuster’s inspection to make sure nothing was overlooked. Had a tree fall on our roof and needed to replace the back slope, gutters and some siding. As a first time owner having never dealt with insurance before, Sal was extremely helpful and thorough in explaining how the process would work, made sure I paid as little out of pocket as possible, and stayed involved throughout to ensure that everything ran smoothly. It was a normal Thursday morning, I had just gotten a snack from my kitchen downstairs and was making my way up back upstairs to my computer when I heard a strong gust of wind blowing for about 10 seconds. Then I heard some bad noises from coming the back of my house. So I went back to check it out and found that a big chunk of the siding on my house had literally been torn off the wall by the wind.

First thing I did was to notify my insurer. Then I launched a frantic search for siding contractors and among them I found Cherry Roofing and Siding. They had lots of good Google reviews and I really liked their professional-looking website, which also featured pictures of some of their completed projects. I called them up about the issue and they sent someone out straight away that afternoon to take a look.

The Cherry rep arrived. His name was Sal D’Amico and he was an amazing help! My house was 40 years old with the original aluminum siding. Sal felt that it was possible that this type of siding was no longer manufactured, which would’ve meant that the insurer would been on the line to pay for my entire house to be replaced with new siding. However, it would be a process to make this happen. So I signed an Assignment of Insurance Benefits (AOIB) with Cherry to help me handle the claim with my insurer.

The first thing we did was to mitigate the damage to my house. So the next morning, Cherry sent a crew to put up a tarp to cover the damage.

The next thing we did as part of the process was to send a sample of the existing siding to get an ITEL report. The ITEL report tells you if there are any manufacturers in the US that make the particular type of siding that you send them. Our hope was that the ITEL report would come back and report that there were no longer any companies still manufacturing this type of siding. In the end, the ITEL report did actually find a manufacturer that made this type of siding as part of a special request. So, unfortunately for me, I wasn’t going to have the insurer paying to have my whole house to have the siding redone. But without Cherry, I wouldn’t have even known that this was even an option, so I am grateful to them for that. In any case, Sal was so helpful with making sure that the insurer indemnified me for all my expenses to repair the wall that was damaged.

In the end, we decided to replace the siding for the entire house. Sal had this really cool software on his iPad which allowed him to take photos of the house, and then do a 3d rendering of what your house would look like with new siding. So he sat with my wife and I and we tried out a whole bunch of siding styles and colors until we arrived at a design that looked just right.

In the weeks leading up to the project I received regular updates from Cheryl via the phone to confirm that specs for the project we discussed with Sal, about when the materials for the project were ready and about scheduling a week that worked for me.

On the Monday of the agreed work week, a crew arrived really early and got straight to work. During the project, I received regular calls from Michael Schmidt, who was the project manager for this project. His calls were mainly to make sure that everything was going according to my desires and if I had any complaints. Honestly, there was virtually nothing to complain about, the whole process went very smoothly.

Sal, Cheryl and Michael were all amazing to work with. They were professional, transparent, responsive and courteous the whole way through. It’s extremely stressful to be living in a house where a big chunk of it is missing or damaged by the elements. You feel exposed and at risk. Couple this with trying to get your insurance company to pay for the damages and you’re having a very stressful time. But Sal and his company took us by the hand and helped us through this process with minimal stress. I always used to be embarrassed by the decrepit looking siding of my house but now I feel dignified, happy and secure.

Josh Cherry our salesman, gave us numerous ideas for the design and color. I had a great experience working with Cherry Roofing and Siding. They did a whole house siding project and put new gutters on. Everyone I worked with was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The sales team of Sal and Mike walked me through all my options and choices, explained everything to me, and gave me room to make the decisions I wanted without pressuring me. They explained all the costs to me (which were fair/competitive with what I expected to pay) and stuck with me through the entire process.

Very professional outfit. They provided everything needed by my insurance company first time and setup appointment to replace roof within a week. Weather had different ideas though. There were some challenges due to having an older home, but the project leads for the various projects worked through the issues with us and resolved all problems as promised.

We have a house and a detached garage in the Haverford, PA area. The garage has a low slop roof and so does one section of the house. Cherry roofing did a great job installing a new GAF shingle and flat roof system. We also had them redo the gutters which were in bad shape. Sal our sales rep and Mike our project manager were very professional and extremely responsive. I also wanted give a small shout out to Chris who stepped in from the NJ office on short notice to fill in while Mike was out for personal reasons, he was also very helpful and responsive.

Due to the size of the project we got quotes from a number of different local companies and Cherry was able to match / beat all of them.

During the actual installation there were a few hiccups with a surprise downpour while our roof was off causing leaking and an accidental damage to the garage. Both these situation were resolved very quickly which we were very happy about.

It’s only been about a week since the installation so the jury is still out on the durability, but so far we have been very satisfied with the whole process and will definitely recommend Cherry to others.
